Semester and November 2012 Break

A vacation is given to us, students to relax and to unwind after those stressful school days we had in the past few months. There are a lot of things that people usually do during their vacation. Some people go out of town, and some stay at home. Some people work and do household chores; and some does nothing but sleeping like a princess.

My vacation was nearly perfect. I spent most of my free day at home doing some of the household chores and when I’m already doing, I go to my room, lay myself in bed and travel in my sleep; Grab my phone or place myself in front of the computer and Tweet on Twitter and update myself with the latest happening buzzing around the globe.

November isn't a Typical Vacationing Month in the Philippines, but the 1st and 2nd day of November is considered to be a Vacation Day for us, students because we Filipinos celebrate or pay respects to our Late Family, Relatives and Friends every November 1 and 2 (not saying that we only pay respect and remember the dead during this 2 specific day) that's why, NO CLASSES! =D. Well, on the November 1st, of course we went to the Cemetery to visit the late People-Close-to-Our-Hearts, which had also served as our 1st Pre-Grand-Reunion because it almost seemed like the whole clan had agreed to visit the tomb of one of my Grandfather last, so yeah, all of us had met there. November 2, we celebrated the 40th death day of one of my Grandfather. Celebration like this should be very solemn and prayers must be well offered, but the celebration we had seemed to be a party. We sang, danced, and did a lot of crazy things. I bet my grandfather saw us and he was very happy because he has seen us smiling, laughing and so joyful. But actually we drop-dead-missing him already.

The way of spending your vacation doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if you went out of town or stayed at home. It doesn't matter if you did nothing or you worked a lot of things. What matters is you spent every second of your vacation very wisely, with your friends and family. And especially, the most important thing is, you had fun and you have relaxed and unwind after those stressful past schooldays and which has just again began.
